Part 1 opens on a tropical beach after the lifeguards' shift. A glowing green orb appears overhead, one partner shields the other, and a massive bolt of energy strikes them both. The blonde's eyes glow as she realises she is growing, and both women's arms, chests and backs bulge as their swimsuits tear and their veins light up. A crowd gathers while they flex and compare, and at sunset they wonder if the change is permanent, with one quietly wishing she had the courage to kiss the other.
